Effective Civil Dialogue in EU Institutions

The legal framework for civil dialogue in the EU is grounded in the TEU and TFEU, with specific provisions and regulations supporting structured engagement with civil society. Civil dialogue is integral to the EU’s concept of participatory democracy, promoting transparency, inclusiveness, and democratic legitimacy in the policy-making process.
